Happy third birthday RealKM Magazine!
This coming Saturday, the 18th of August, RealKM Magazine will celebrate its third birthday. A big thank you to all of you for making this milestone possible!
It’s been another fantastic year for RealKM Magazine. There’s been ever-growing interest in our articles from the knowledge management (KM) community and beyond, and we’ve received some great feedback through the year, for example from Arthur Shelley, Straits Knowledge, and Charles White.
One of the highlights for the year has been the launch of our Patreon campaign, with the aim of raising much-needed funds for the ongoing operation and hopefully expansion of RealKM Magazine. A big thank you to all of our generous sponsors for your invaluable support, and in particular to our Platinum Patrons: Stephen Bounds (RealKM Founder) – Cordelta, and Dr Arthur Shelley – Intelligent Answers.
The big new things in KM
Other highlights for RealKM Magazine over the past year include raising important issues in regard to the forthcoming ISO 30401 KM standard, as well as supporting progress on the other big new things that are happening in KM right now:
- Establishment of an international knowledge professionals society
- Comprehensive, accredited knowledge manager education
- The open movement and working out loud
- Improved participatory decision-making.
