In 2018, RealKM Connect is going online

The RealKM Connect evidence-based knowledge management (KM) professional development seminar series was launched in Melbourne, Australia in 2017. Six seminars were held through the year, representing the scope and vision of RealKM Connect’s approach to learning and topics. RealKM Connect also co-convened the #KMELB2017 conference.

However, time and money are scarce resources for all professionals today, so it has become apparent that holding the seminars face-to-face in Melbourne isn’t quite hitting the mark.

As such, the face-to-face RealKM Connect seminars won’t be continued in 2018. We are going to retool and rethink how best to connect and educate a wider range of KM professionals virtually going forward.

I want to take a moment to thank Amanda Surrey for her marvellous job as RealKM Connect facilitator. I trust that everyone who attended a seminar or the #KMELB2017 conference found them to be both educational and practical for your everyday work.
