Between 2021-2024, he was also Chair of the Knowledge, Innovation, and Research Utilisation Network (KIRUN) for the Australian and New Zealand National Council for Fire and Emergency Services (AFAC). He has a Masters Degree, Knowledge Management and is Australian delegate to the KM Global Network.
