Happy 9th anniversary RealKM Magazine!

A year of VERY BIG milestones!

On the 18th of August 2015, RealKM Magazine welcomed its first readers. Nine years later, we’ve had over 2 million views of our more than 2 thousand articles!

This highlights the continually growing value that evidence-based KM has to the knowledge management (KM) community and beyond, with RealKM Magazine having the primary objective of sharing high-value KM and related research. We do this through publishing research summaries, feature articles, and article series.

A further major highlight of the past year has been our leadership of the KM & Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) campaign in partnership with the Knowledge Management for Development (KM4Dev) community and Knowledge for Development Partnership (K4DP). This campaign has significantly advanced a multiple knowledges approach in the SDGs, with more work to come.

A big THANK YOU to the RealKM Patrons,
and a very special thanks to Dr Arthur Shelley!

A big 9th anniversary THANK YOU goes to our RealKM Patrons, whose generous support makes the continuation of RealKM Magazine possible!

A very special thanks goes to Platinum Patron Dr Arthur Shelley, who is retiring from both his KM work and as a RealKM Patron after being our most significant supporter for most of RealKM Magazine‘s life. We are deeply grateful to Arthur for both his outstanding support for RealKM and his decades of KM community leadership. We very much look forward to his continued involvement in other ways!

Become a PatronIt is through the great generosity of Arthur and our other other RealKM Patrons that we are able to do what we do. So, please also think about becoming a RealKM Patron yourself, and in doing so making a very valuable contribution to the future of KM!

A big THANK YOU to our authors!

We also honour the work of our authors over the past year – a big 9th anniversary THANK YOU for your great writing!

Significantly, a large number of our articles over the past year have been written by students, through our partnership with the Nanyang Technological University Singapore Master of Science in Knowledge Management. Importantly, these articles discuss research in the context of the experiences and perspectives of the new generation of knowledge managers. Check them out for some great insights into different ways of doing KM and the application of KM to a wider range of organizations and issues. A big thanks to Rajesh Dhillon for facilitating the partnership, and to the students for their insights and efforts!

A big THANK YOU to our collaborators!

Over the past year, we’ve also strengthened our relationships with other leading KM-related institutions and not-for-profit organisations including the Knowledge Management for Development (KM4Dev) community, Nanyang Technological University Singapore Master of Science in Knowledge Management, Pioneer Knowledge Services, Integration and Implementation Insights (i2Insights), Knowledge for Development Partnership (K4DP), and Knowledge Management Global Network (KMGN). A big 9th anniversary THANK YOU for your outstanding collaboration!

Join us for the KM journey ahead!

We look forward to continuing to promote evidence-based knowledge management in the years ahead. Don’t forget to subscribe to the RealKM Weekly Wrap newsletter, and you can also follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Medium. You might also like to think about writing an article.
