Congratulations Gladys Kemboi, DPC Fellowship Award winner!

A big congratulations to well-known KM champion Gladys Kemboi, who has won the DPC Fellowship Award in the Digital Preservation Awards 2024. The Awards were presented at iPRES 2024 (International Conference on Digital Preservation) in Belgium in September 2024.

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) writes that:

2024 saw the return of the DPC Fellowship Award, and this was awarded to Gladys Kemboi who is a passionate advocate of digital preservation. Gladys works tirelessly to advance local and indigenous knowledge development in Kenya and across Africa, and has collaborated with leaders and partners across sectors and around the globe to build dynamic and equitable knowledge ecosystems.

Sarah Cummings and Chris Prom collected the DPC Fellowship Award on behalf of Gladys, who gave an acceptance speech by video.

KMGN Global Knowledge Week 2024, 14-18 October

This year’s KMGN Global Knowledge Week is from 14-18 October 2024. It is a significant event, engaging knowledge management (KM) enthusiasts from a multitude of countries, cities, organizations, universities, and schools.

This festival is dedicated to hosting a variety of KM-centric events and activities, all converging towards a singular objective: the advancement of KM.
