Dr Ayvaz is the Director of the Certificate Accreditation Program (CAP) at the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). His primary focus areas include overseeing the accreditation process, managing client relationship, and providing subject matter expertise to all involved parties. He was a research fellow at the George Washington University’s Center for the Study of Learning, conducting research and consulting project on knowledge management, organization and leadership development. He also participated studies on standardization efforts of knowledge management at the George Washington University’s Institute for Knowledge & Innovation and wrote his doctoral dissertation on communicative actions and knowledge creation.
Dr Ayvaz has also extensive experience in quality management field, such as ISO 9001 certification. He has a B.S. in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations from Marmara University, Istanbul, an M.S. in Organization and Business Policy from University of Istanbul, and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, and an Ed.D. in Human and Organizational Learning from the George Washington University.
