Tony Pryor

Tony Pryor is the Senior Programming Adviser ​with the Program Cycle Services Center (PCSC)​ ​at USAID's Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning (PPL). He supports work in rethinking the Agency's approach to strategic planning, and works closely with the Bureau's Learning Team in integrating learning into Agency policies and procedures. He received his Masters in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University in 1975 and worked as an environmental economist at Resources for the Future, the Carnegie Corporation and the Rockefeller Foundation. He started his career with USAID in 1983 in energy and natural resources in Africa, and then joined the Policy Planning and Coordination Bureau (PPC), involved with program reforms. From 2001 through 2010 he was in charge of the Knowledge Management and Training portfolios for the International Resources Group. He returned to USAID in 2011 to PPL and is responsible for revising the ADS Series 200 innovations, change management and learning for the Office of Strategic and Program Planning.
