
Who should win the international Knowledge Management Award in 2026?
The international Knowledge Management Award is the world’s most important award honoring pioneers in the domain of knowledge management and sustainable knowledge societies.
Every year since 2009, one individual and one international organization have been honored with the KM Award. RealKM’s Bruce Boyes received the individual KM Award in 2025, and other winners include:
- Personalities such as Leif Edvinsson, Kimiz Dalkir, Professor Eric Tsui, Charles Savage, Stefan Güldenberg, Klaus North, Angelika Mittelmann, Charles Dhewa, Vincent Ribiere, Stacey Young, and Benjamin Abugri.
- International organizations such as UNICEF, the World Food Programme, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), UNDP, Green Climate Fund, Inter-American Development Bank and UNESCO, among others.
The award itself consists of a work of art, the Column of Knowledge. Designed by Austrian artist Helmut Margreiter in 2008, the bronze and steel sculpture represents an outstanding artistic statement on knowledge in the tension between excellence and innovation in society.
