KM Triversary Forum Workshops Overview
The KM Triversary Forum sought to inclusively, interactively, and collaboratively develop solutions and resolutions to address the Forum theme of “bridging the research-practice gap in knowledge management (KM).”

As shown in the flowchart above, this was done through:
- Keynotes and presentations that put forward the widest possible range of perspectives and insights on the Forum theme.
- Questions and discussion involving Forum participants, who were encouraged to progressively reflect on what was being raised and discussed by recording issues, ideas, and information in real time in Three Eyes (3i’s) worksheets.
- Workshops at the end of the Forum that built on the recorded issues, ideas, and information to develop ways forward to address the research-practice gap in KM.
Three workshops were facilitated:
- Workshop W – Western Hemisphere at the end of sessions W1 and W2 (as shown in the Forum Program). This workshop was facilitated by Ruwaida Salem.
- Workshop E – Eastern Hemisphere at the end of sessions E1 and E2 (as shown in the Forum Program). This workshop was facilitated by Stuart French.
- Workshop Overall which brought together and further explored the outputs from Workshop W and Workshop E. This workshop was facilitated by Stuart French.
Further information on the Forum including the overall approach can be found in Summary of KM Triversary Forum 2025.
