In the know: Global Knowledge Week 2025 | Fundraising for Institute of Domestic Violence, Religion & Migration (IDVRM)
In the know is a regular roundup of knowledge management (KM) topics of discussion and the articles, events, videos, and podcasts that are grabbing the attention of KM experts across our community.
Global Knowledge Week, 20-24 October, 2025
Global Knowledge Week unites knowledge management (KM) enthusiasts from a multitude of countries, cities, organizations, universities, and schools. This festival is dedicated to hosting a variety of KM-centric events and activities, all converging towards a singular objective: the advancement of KM. In 2024, there were 138 events across 16 countries, and 2025 is anticipated to be even bigger.

Fundraising for Institute of Domestic Violence, Religion & Migration (IDVRM)
A fundraising campaign is supporting the launch of the Institute of Domestic Violence, Religion & Migration (IDVRM). The IDVRM is a recently UK-registered non-profit enterprise that specialises in developing and strengthening community-led, culturally resonant and faith-sensitive responses to domestic violence. It is a collective of highly specialised researchers, practitioners and community members dedicated to decolonising knowledge and systems that neglect the needs of minorities in the UK and internationally.
