First global K4D Challenge!

The first global, thematically open Knowledge for Development (K4D) Challenge kicks off on 10 April 2025! You are most welcome to join, learn, contribute and be part of the K4D Community.

The K4D Challenges and their history of success

The K4D Challenges are both educational and transformational programmes jointly implemented by the Knowledge for Development Partnership (K4DP) and partner institutions. Participants are joining a comprehensive Certification Training Programme and apply the learnings directly in the team to solve pressing challenges in the respective knowledge ecosystem.

Thematically and geographically focused K4D Challenges have been successfully empowering emerging knowledge managers since 2001, for example through the Africa Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development Challenge (KM4AgD), the Knowledge Management for Public Administration of Uganda Challenge (KM4PAdU), and the global Knowledge Management for Biodiversity Challenge (KM4B).
